5. 2008 Champions League Final—Manchester United vs. Chelsea

At number 5 ,we bring you the 2008 Champions League final game , Manchester United takes on it’s English rival on Luzhniki stadium in Moscow. This has been the first time in Champions league history that we had two English teams in the finals. Early on, in 26th minute, Christiano Ronaldo opened the scoring with a great header from Wes Brown’s cross!

Until  half time Chelsea had some great chances and managed to equalize with a great goal by Frank Lampard. In the second half none of the teams could score, and in the extra time Drogba was sent off for slapping Nemanja Vidic, so the match went to penalties. Petar Cech stopped Ronaldo’s penalty, and  all Chelsea’s John Terry needed to do was score and the game would have been over.Unfortunately, for Chelsea’s fans, he slipped and missed, and therefore, Manchester United won the penalty series and the Champions League title!
